Great shot! I call this one "The one that got away." Whats cool is that this dead sockeye escaped predators out in the ocean, escaped the gill netters, birds of prey, seals, bears, was caught by a fisherman and got free to spawn and die as it was meant to. The story of salmon is pretty amazing.
Bronte creek, last spring. Would you be pissed if you were fishing your favourite pool and these guys come down the river. Haha I wasn't fishing that day but found it hilarious to see the faces of the fisherman when these guys came down.
