I was chucking spoons early morning. had a couple of young pikes. Having a great time. All catch and release. I'm planning to break my cnr goal for a friend who wanted some pike. I told him I will get one for him If I feel it's the right size. Luckily for the fishes. Nothing was encouraging for dinner. I was at the end of my short fishing plan...I saw a dead walleye floating. Take note this is a GTA marina. I want a closer look have my measuring tape and it measured about 2 ft. one eye is gone...and the other half of it's body have marks like a bird (probably crows) got their share.

Thats not encouraging. Did it look skinny as if it might not have eaten for a while or do you think it could have been a CnR gone wrong?

I'm not sure because it's definitely bloated. But I've never seen walleye caught around these areas. Or any reports whatsoever.

Me neither but I heard on another forum that there was over 50,000 walleye stocked in the Toronto and Hamilton Harbour...

But like you I've never hooked into one... Weird
