Can anyone explain why my phone won't allow me to get the IP.Board ?????

you mean Shoutbox? it could be flash based .. not sure.

I can only see the shout box on my bb torch but can type to the shout box with my bb playbook so I'd have to agree that shout box is flash based.

I was able to install the IP.Board app on my iPhone with no issues. iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.
