While fishing one of my creeks for some browns I came across this..

The back side of the flasher says..
"For Brecks Canada" Not sure what that is..

Also what hook is that? The flasher is pretty worn has tiny teeth marks in it.

I got a couple of those from my dad...theyre probably not super old but i think he bought them in the 70s or 80s but im not positive

They all have trebles on them now, which is overkill depending on species.
And... they are not removable (easily)

I wish they were sold with that style hook still.

Cut off the treble and replace it with an open eye siwash hook ,close it shut with pliers and your good to go.

hey kit,

nice find,

i once went to lakefront promenade park and found a white crankbait, but lost it in port credit after a fight with a bass.

ive seen that hook on a topwater soft frog.

but i dont think you can attach a frog but a frog trailer could work. just an idea.....

is that not a shiney new mepps comet available at BPS or am I missing something?? lol

alright since this is up here I have the same mepps as u I also have a mepps 2 kriss made in france I don't know if they still make them or not but I figured I would post a pic and see if anyone knows more about it. it was given to me in a tackle box full of goodies from my grandfather and belonged to a good friend of his who passed away around 2001 he didn't have any kids or anything, soo I know for sure mine were obviously purchased before that there was also a few unique salmon spoons as he fished out in lake o quite often.
