Hi, this is a shout out to the 3 boaters that ignored a boat in trouble on Belwood lake around 2 pm on Friday the 13th of May, and chose to turn around despite shouts for help, waving arms and a loud air horn. Nice going human beings. I hope you are proud of yourselves.

Also, thanks to the two nice guys in a fishing boat who stopped to help.

I thought we were a caring society, guess just not on the water.

I was out on Belwood that day, saw all of the commotion from shore, sorry I couldn't help much. I did snap a pic of the offending boaters you speak of!

I actually avoid boaters when I'm kayaking unless they're fishing.

Seems odd, isn't it the rule that you always help a boater in need? At least that's what I was taught.
