i was at the islands to play socker on the weekend took some corn with me to feed the shallow carp,
al the carps just passed the corn and didnt touch it, how come ?

cold, cold, cold. Water temps i about 2 wees behind normal due to the cold weather we've had. Carp and PIke are still really sluggish at the island. Hopefully it will warm up soon.

Pike are sluggish? When did you visit ? See much pikes resting in shallows?

Pike are still sluggish. They get more active post spawn when the water temps reach around 56'c

I was on the island yesterday, lots of carp no biting, saw some bass and pike, still nothin doin...there are fish there though, saw dozens, but they just would not bite!!

take some corn, or bread as we've talked about in previous posts, carp are fun when their biting, but sometimes their very finacky.
Could be hit or miss.
Good luck man
Chris
