Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to start a chat regarding Island Lake Conservation which is in Orangeville located on hwy 10. Wanted to discuss if anyone has had any luck with Bass or Pike and what are good spots in Island Lake.

Looking forward to the discussion!

Nigel

Pike all over - troll lures - spoons by the dam and shallows. Minnows if you can get them.

thanks Jim.

Went on Civic Monday and caught a small Pike on the right side of the Lake. Also caught Rock Bass, a big Catfish and tons of Perch.

Waiting to land a monster Pike and/or some good Bass.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. That place is loaded with pike.
My son and I were targeting bass but the final count was 25 snot rockets, two 3 lb bass, two giant rock bass.
One giant pumpkinseed which was caught on a rapala Dt flat crank.
The west end produced all the pike probably was the only area without any weeds lol.

Lots of pike when ice fishing. Go near dam elsewhere is very shallow, lots of weed.. They said crappies are there too but never caught one yet.

im a local to the lake the ice fishing there is awsome right now me and my brother have been there 2 times this year the first day we went for 2 hours caught 2 around 30 inches and the second day we caught 5 nice pike at the far end of the lake there is a 20 foot hole thats good for pike or by the huts there is a 7 foot chanel wich is good to try practice catch and release to keep the fishing good to many people take to many fish

this lake also procudes huge crappy---and you can fish from shore for sure--thw enitre lake is only max 7 feet deep-great bass on the north end --before weeds get to thick to navigate with a boat--and they sell minnows there.
