Island Lake...

Hello..

I am just wondering about the Island Lake (Orangeville Reservoire)

Do you have to pay to fish that lake?
If so where do you pay ?

Free parking?

I used to fish that lake about 10 years ago when it was still called Orangeville Reservoir.

I don't recall having to pay to "fish" there, but I did pay to rent a boat with an electric trolling motor. I also don't remember having to pay for parking, but things may have changed there over the last few years.

BTW, I caught LM and pike, but the pike were small. (hamerhandle pike)

Best areas for bass were towards the east end of the lake as I recall. There eastern section has lot's of submerged wood, stumps, etc... Prime LM bass habitat.
