Itching For fishng.

Lately i havent been able to head out to the water at all. Ive been itching to get out there too Just wondering how you guys deal with the itch to go fishing. im almost going crazy.

I'm in the same situation as you... I like to read through forums, look at pictures, organize my stuff, talk fishing with friends, spin flies. Anything fishing related to keep me sane. I find myself pulling off the highway sometimes just to go hang out at fishing areas.

haha yeah i hear you. Sad thing is im still in highschool so im not as free to hit rivers Plus this bipolar canadian weather is getting to me. The things i would do to live in BC or Alaska

i started making floats. or get a bunch of buddies that fish so every night you get a bunch of reports from places you want to be. Live through them!!!!!

It looks like this entire upcoming week is a scrap. So much rain coming. It's going to be tough. I might make some flies or something. Sometimes it's best to just completely take your mind off fishing if you know you can't go.

Don't we all get jittery when we can't have our fix when we really want to? There are a lot of reasons stopping us from hitting our favorite lake, creek or river. It could be jobs, family, mother nature. But we will eventually become "one with the universe" again. Be patient. I make sure I get stuff done at home, have time with the kids and when it's time to come out and play, I don't hear nothing from the wife. In fact each time I do this routine (i don't do it all the time) and I just don't feel like going out, i get asked why i'm not out there. If the weather is worst and chores are done, I pull out the Rapala Bass Pro 2010 ps3 game and catch myself a musky...
