yea unfortunately a lot of people dump their unwanted tropical fish into lakes, just so happens that goldfish enjoy cold water, where most tropicals will just die

I remember afew years ago, in Lake Simcoe off a dock in the city of Barrie a guy caught a Red-bellied piranha. they had in on the Barrie TV news

Some people are so inconsiderate. I remember years ago some idiot dumped a pet piranha into Heart Lake Conservation and some kid caught it then all hell broke loose and the Conservation Authority had to drain the lake because there was a beach that family enjoyed. That cost lots of money and they lost the beach thanks to that sick individual.

waste of resources right there, the pirhana would most likely have died come winter

goldfish hybrid i got in the credit up north!

somebody got tired of keeping it in the aquarium and decide to just release it into the lake, man that must have been crazy to see that coming up through the hole in the ice anyway thanks for posting and sharing :D

I used to go to the pond in Milton with a friend and his sons. I've seen quite a few Goldfish come out of there (nothing as big as the one in the video) and at one end of the pond you could see schools of them.

Alfie.
