Its been a good month of May.

The Carp are biting in Windsor this month. I fish near a pollution control centre on the Little River that flows into the Detroit river near the mouth of Lake St. Clair. They seem to like to hang out there. I have been using pita bread as bait.

Its been a lot of fun!

That would be my pita bread, with elastics wrapped around it holding it onto a hair rig. I have not gotten around to making boilies yet, and with as well as the pita has been working, im not sure im going to.

all those fish together is like a decent day at the creek by my house....loads of cats and carps.....best thing is, I am the ONLY person to fish down there...i have seen 3 kids attempt to fish for an hour once, but left saying there are no fish in there, yet the cats are jumping every min or two....and I then proceeded to land my second carp of the day....they were floating worms and using floating rapalas....while both methods will eventually produce something...it will take a few days until that one fish wants to strike

Great idea, how long will the pita breat last like that? Sounds alot better than rebaiting bread every few casts.
