Did a little walleye fishing last night at a new spot and thought I had one on, having felt the telltale lifelessness bringing it, and then seeing the flash of silver and green in the water beneath me. Turned out to be my PB crappie by a long shot.

I now know the meaning of slab.

Saw carp feeding voraciously off the surface for the hour or so I was there. I've never seen them feeding this way at night before, I could see their white mouths opening constantly.

That's a beaut, it's bigger then your foot!!! Were there alot of bugs around? That could account for the carp "sucking" the air. Or the oxygen level in the water is so low they had to suck air. I've only seen them do that in the day time in a nearly stagnant river.

That has got to be one of the greatest Black Crappie shots ever  .... the sock makes it! (Ok, Georgian had a massive Black but I am sure he had shoes on in the shot lol!)

Lol I was wearing birks and for some reason sized it up to my foot rather than sandal. Didn't mean to cause any commotion

ahhhhhhhhh photo scale ok got it... not like we have a foot fetish lol  crappie fetish maybe

wtg on ur new PB....its a good slab for sure and 95% of anglers would think its a giant. ive had crappies that couldnt be brought up an 8" ice hole.
