Anybody have any tips for spring fishing in this region? Arrived back in town for a while and am hoping to get out and catch some fish.

Not much open in the waters around here at the moment..what species were you looking to target?

I enjoy river fishing.. heard the grand near brantford has some good trout, but will have to wait a few weeks for that

can anyone tell me the regulations on the oakville area lake ontario tributaries? when can we fish these rivers?

4th Saturday of April is the opening day for stream fishing in Oakville. I'm worried people are going to go into the sanctuary after a recent thread here. Anyway, best of luck with opener

Currently its downstream from Lakeshore Road...so you can only fish the mouth and the lake....

Carp fishing is open but you'll have to see the rivers for flow speed
