Lady Caroline is a seemingly simple pattern, but damn...​

Stroke your hackle back each turn...​

Your mallard roof (detail of a true spey) has to lay quite close to the hook shank...almost parallel with it...​

Stroke the mallards between thumb and forefinger and the barbules will reconnect and help marry the barbs together again...​

Mind telling me where you're headed? I'd love to stay in contact I was pretty happy about the body on this, apart from the tail being a bit long it went well, but the wing was giving me trouble, I need some better BM, the stuff I have now is garbage, the tips simply don't like each other lol.
