The main part of Lake Muskoka just iced over this week. There are huts out around the mouth of the river and sleds have been running from Indianhead Marina out to the islands. I haven't been out yet myself, but I have reports that parts of the lake are staked.

Hey,
Just returned from an extended long weekend in Port Carling. The mild temps and high winds totally undone all safe ice in our vicinity. Heading up again Thurs pm but don't expect any safe ice. Beware and take care!
