Whats up guys!

Went fishing yesterday at the pier in Lake ON under the lift bridge, about 20 ft away from the lighthouse. We got there around 9:30 pm and stayed until 11:45 pm. I tossed a few little cleos, and after no luck with those, I switched to plastic worms. After having no luck with any of these lures we went home.

What was I doing wrong? Did we get there to late? Should I have stayed with the little cleos? Is this spot not a good one?

Also, there were quite a few fish jumping out of the water that are a rather nice size. Do you guys know what kind of fish would jump out of water like that? I might try fishing for those next time.

Thanks,

seems like either they were salmon jumping or carp surfacing, other than that what you were doing seemed pretty normal, timing was pretty good but you shouldve got there at like 7-8 so you could fish sundown. but try using BIG cleos not small ones if those are salmon, if those are carp use corn
