lake Ontario shore fishing

Hey i was just wondering if it is possible to catch anything by casting off beaches or rocks around the jack darling park area.

Absolutely!

It's just down from Port Credit.
Not saying its the BEST PLACE in the world .....but depending on season:

Bass, Pike, Salmon, Trout (Bows & Browns), Carp, Suckers, Gobies ... panfish, Carp.

Right now: Better odds at a Trout!

Again, not great ... but there are fish EVERYWHERE in Lake Ontario.
Might, even hit a late season Pike right now as well as trout.

I'd stick with the hardware: Spinners, Spoons .... J13's.
