Lake Rosseau

Hello all,

I'll be visiting Lake Rosseau in early July, and will be staying at the JW Marriott in Minett. I won't have much time to head out on the lake, and am hoping to sneak in a couple hours of dock or shoreline fishing; can anyone tell me of any spots open to public access where I could fish from? I'm hoping to catch some largemouths.

I will be there too at same resort in late June. I am now googling and hopefully I can find find some great shore fishing spots.

For the trip we had on the 2nd last week of June, I had tried a few times on the dock and in the Fish Rock area in the resort for some shore fishing. These areas were very busy with lots of boats in and out. So the result was that I only got one rock bass with a leaf worm rig and Berkley Powerbait worm. I had also talked to the people working there, it seems that this was about it for shore fishing. If you want to catch some big ones, the only way is to rent a boat.
