I live in Manitoba but am moving to the London area and I am curious as to how things work down there. In Manitoba I can usually find a spot to pitch a tent or park a camper for a while, somewhere on a decent fishing lake, without having to resort to an actual campground. Sometimes there are well used areas or sometimes I slip a farmer some cash. I have a couple of dogs that we take everywhere and they pose a problem at campgrounds. I have NEVER stayed at a real campground. My question is, are there any spots on Lake St Clair that a guy can pitch his tent? North of the Thames River outlet it looks pretty promising but that is just based on a map. Hoping someone here can shed a little insight as to how things work down there. My wife and I are major perch fisherman!!
