Hey OFF!

I've fished most of the major Bass and Pike Lakes in Ontario (Rice, Simcoe, Muskoka, Kahshe, Scugog) and I'm looking for a lesser known watering hole to drop my boat into.

Any tips?? Any advice on which lake to hit up will be greatly appreciated. No secret spots requested.

Lake Chemong, anywhere up in the haliburton highlands has plenty of nice bodies of water with smallmouth and pike. If I was you and looking for something new and have some time to go away and camp for a couple days, visit lake nippissing.

I've wanted to travel to Lake Nipissing for some time now but just haven't been able to find the time. I'll eventually make my way up there.

Im from north bay originally and I second that nippissing is awesome tho ive heard the fishing has really slowed down.

Fishing has definitely slowed down due to advertisement and what not, but truthfully, if you know how to fish you will easily find your limit and then some of walleye and many many bass!

What about Manitouwabing or Six Mile Lake? Anyone fish them recently? I've heard good things about the Pike in Manitouwabing and the Bass in Six Mile.

Yeah for sure, sucks that I didnt fish when I lived up there. Only the odd times with my buddies. !

Yeah it was good up there about 10 years ago or so. My family lives in Sturgeon Falls they fished it all the time espically ice fishing they don't bother now cause when they fished they kept it now they just buy it off the Indians. Cheaper.

Manitouwabing stocks walleye and theres pike around...i had a tough time there figuring out all the structure but the eyes are supposedly in the weeds...and endless smallies there caught a 4 plus there...need to find that pic

fished quinte?

My family is from sturgeon falls aswell. Yeah im native and dont agree with the netting . Its redicoulas. Natives are sapposed to take what they need not take everything. But the times have changed.

Sturgeon Lake in the kawarthas is my hands down best smallmouth lake around, fish the rocky shorelines with jigs and plastics (even cranks) and you will easily pick up at least 10 good 2lb Smallies in a day..

I believe it is well known, but will mention it any how Lake Erie, Huge Smallies, good LM, and big pike, and muskie in the upper Niagara river.
