Fascinating for them I'm sure.
Now if they would just drop the Atlantic program things would be good. I don't think they even imprint the chinnies now a days judging by returns west. Bread and butter fish for charters I do realize.

All the clubs can do is what the MNRF say, numbers we can raise & where they have to be released & my focus is getting youth more into fishing & hopefully down the road things will change for the better.

Cool, I found out recently that Kincardine has a brown trout hatchery / stocking program, all along I thought it was a steelie hatchery.

Fantastic. Great job guys and gals.
Are these fish released at river mouths?

We release about 60,000 Browns & Rainbows out of Kincardine & 60,000 Chinooks out of Port Elgin hatchery

That's incredible!

The Rainbows are released into the Saugeen River, the Salmon can be released in Kincardine, Southampton, Sauble River & Pike Bay I think & Browns are released into sights from about Point Clark to Pike Bay area & maybe a few into Barrow Bay.
