Yeah great for bouncing fast moving deeper drifts. Roe bag 5" lead bobber stop then a corky, deadly in fast water
 
Are you saying that you put these beads 5" above the hook? I understood that most people put a bead 1"-2" from the hook. Do you use the bobber stop instead of putting a toothpick or whatever in the hole on the bead? thx

youtube corkies, you get some ideas.
 
Many ways to rig corkies... You can butt them up against the hook with yarn. I was just refering to a tactic that i like to use in fast deep water. The corky a few inches adds as a floating attractant and doesnt bulk up the bait.
 
Google this "how to rig corkies" and the first link in the results (My favourite way to rig corkies) has, what appears to be, a solid way of using them as well.

I was looking for them over the weekend and BPS has them in the fly section. Might need to visit a fly fishing shop for a bigger in-store variety. On-line is always a go to as well, obviously.
