Have you fished there in spring for crappie before ? If so, how was it ?

No, i never fish for crappie in the spring, i was there Mid august fishing bass, and one of the guys there caught about 40 good size crappie, 2 pike and bass. I'm just wondering if anyone here have fish crappie in the spring?

That lake was loaded last year with Crappie, Rented a pontoon boat for the day and every time you move a school came out from right under the boat.

I found that lake to be good for bass as it's weedy as heck and the pike fishing although no giant you get into a few smaller ones,

Moss Boss works wonders on that lake.

Thanks for the tip but... that lake is extremely weedy and only the middle part is somewhat deepER, ain't it ?
I've also rented a boat from one next to the one you are talking about... it's cheap there because... lake isn't so popular i guess. $60 for all day i think. But than again I think the owner opens whenever he want because i had to knock and ring the bell several times to get his attention.

To put that together shows 2 things, your immaturity and the fact you could very possible be in need of some help?
I talking 6*6 with bars help! 25 to life!

Not sure what it's like now, but my buddy was there a few weeks ago and couldn't keep the crappies off his line.

I didn't konw little lake had crappie, that lake is is the first lake my friends fish at the begining of the season it's like a tradition. caught pike , bass, rock bass and sunfish never crappie though, think i have to check it out thes year

Location:

Little Lake

Like I said... all day boat rental for $60 only.

This lake is loaded with snotrockets too. Lake is fairly small too...
I am thinking of visiting during may and do some walking the dog for those miniature pike

Boat rental I went to was near the end of that Little Lake Dr.

WoW we use to fish there all the time years ago that is actually where I caught my first pike. I was thinking of going but I thought since its been so long and since there was so much development in Barrie it wouldn't be as good anymore.

Does anyone remember if there is an accessable boat launch? are gas outboards still allowed? If I remember correctly it was small enough that an electric motor would do.

Thx
