These in toronto are closed went last weekwd fishing without minows both store where I usually buy my minows on Jane Street south of 401 HWY are closed.
I heard that they are open on weekends from 05:00 AM and they have all kind of minows.

Thank you guys very mauch.
Last weekend we lost hours going from place to place but all of them was closed.
Thank you again and tight lines evryone.

may we ask where you fished with the minnows? what were you after? report? pics?
i haven't been out in a looonngggg time, so seeing others people success helps hahah :)

Hi Guys.
We were planing to go to Belwood lake under the dam for pike and pearch but because we did not find minows we went to Caledonia on Grand river right side under the dam, beside CN railway bridge you can not miss it,good spot for pike, crapie, bass and trout.
when you come to Caledonia it is mins driving from local Tim Hortons you park in to the local park parking across fishing store(DOES not cary minows this time of year only warms and very smal minows 1/2 inch, good for nothing there.
There is nothing to brag about it was cold windy day and guys next to us got two pickrels nice size but we did not have minows.
We have tried worms, jigs, spiners and lures.Later that day we have tried roe bags for trout but no luck at all.
So in total nothing to brag about.
I do not own digital camera belive it or not.

Thight lines.

I've had great success with using gulp minnows, the ones in the little container I think they are called gulp alive, 1 of those minnows is like having 5 live minnows, 2 months ago with just 1 I caught 3 rock bass, a crappie and a nice 18" walleye and was still able to keep on fishing with it! so even if tho the price is like $19.99 I think they are worth it, cause I had the same issue finding a store that sold live minnows that was open in the early morning and in the west end.

Good to hear ppl are still fishing with gas prices so low I might go check out some places next weekend.
