Local carp fishing

One thing about the polarized glasses is that you should stay away from the cheap plastic lenses that you can find at Canadian tire and fishing stores. I have heard from numerous optometrists including my sister that some of the lower end plastic lenses can be slightly warped which causes the light to reflect in your eyes in a negative way and has a negative impact on your vision over time. To me its just not worth the risk. If you can, buy some glasses with a quality glass lens. You don’t have to spend 200-300 on a pair of Ray Bans, many brands make quality glass lenses in the $50-80 range. Your eyes will thank you in 20 years.

Thanks. Sounds like I have lots of walking to do. :)

Walk, explore, try different areas. You will be rewarded.

My first carp came from walking along the rouge looking for suckers. I heard big splashes, investigated the general area, and saw carp jumping. Wasn't long before I hooked into my first carp.

Excellent fish to go after!
