I bought a bunch at my local store, the spoons seem ok, but I would say throw away the hooks that came with them and replace with some decent hooks of your usual preference.

i was looking at them to but i didn't think they would have the wait to launch them way out in the pear. let me no how they work out for you

Check and make sure the rings that hold the hooks to the lure are solid. Cheap is not always good, you get what you pay for. Years ago my dad and I were on our way up north for a fly in fishing trip for pike. We stopped at a place because we realized we would need leaders and bought 20 of them. They were made in China and where they looped around back to the metal was not braided, it had a wax seal holding it together. Needless to say the pike ripped them apart. We ended up doing better with our lures tied straight to our 8 lb monofilament. No where to go buy new leaders when you are 700 miles from the nearest town.

Funny you should say that, I usually add a dayglo 1oz weight onto the front loop....

you would probably need to glue three together to get some weight, oh and change the hooks and split rings. little cleos are cheaper imo.

btw is anyone planing to try one of those flashing lures from walmart?

you mean the crankbaits with the red flashing strobe light? I tried a few of them last year, they worked well but the light stopped working on both of them after one outing each.

i already tried this stuff at dollarama lol they dont work well. and they not heavy when you throw this at pier you can cast it near not too far. i suggest go to lebaron or nearest fishing store to you and buy little cleos and crocodile and j13 you will get them in cheap price at lebaron. but try your luck with those spoon. for me they don't work you will add a weight to those spoon so you can cast them far  peace :)

yeah i got curious and bought a couple diferent things from the dollar store stay away from the crankbaits 1 out of 3 swam properly and even then i havent caught anyhting with it.... spoons didint bother they were to thin and inline spinners some are realy good but some are bad and dont spin under water.... the R-ben spinners are actualy preaty good caught plenty of bass and pike with them but the skirts fall off preaty easily when you cast! the plastic baits are ok but smell alot like plastic and well havent caught anything with the 2 i bought... hooks are realy bad bend easily(applys to evrything other then the plastic baits with single hooks and R-bend spinners).... i learnt lol i just go to lebaron or sail and get quality stuff for a buck or 2 more.... but i have to say my nefiew got intrested in fishing so i got him a 15 dollar rod at canadian tire and bought 1 of the realy small tackle boxes and got him preaty much evrything he needed to start for lil over 15$ dollars at the dollar store so good deal for that scenario!

so overall opignion be very picky i know its cheap and easy to buy a bunch but theyl probly sit in the bottom of your tackle box to rust.... I put my OK on R-bends and inlines but still lol.....

I HAVE to chime in here! Here goes an epic story of a boy...

Got my first 2 ft. pike on a Dollarama spoon last month, not any of the ones you pictures... it was a big red/white spoon.

So I'd say cheap stuff works, pike don't care.
