zome lines--where they cross the river --the regs will explain what time of year those rivers between those lines are fishable without spending a week in jail.

A couple guys got handcuffed recently at the ganny. Apparently they were fishing inside the sanctuary.

just a slap on the wrist imo, if they really want people to listen, start taking gear and vehicals

It looks like there has been lots of poaching going on at the ganny. I think the only time there isn't poaching there is when the fish are gone.

We used to be able to drift right under that bridge, but they took down the sign that said no fishing from north side up, and the regs say no fishing south of the CNR, I can somewhat understand why guys still fish that slot if they have been for the last couple of years with no issue, it's funny because the guy who took that pic used to stand right under the bridge with the best of them. Screw the ganny anyways, way too much of a gong show, I just sit back and watch the chaos.

no surprise there. That place is a gong show even during the week, way too much publicity for the tiny stretch that is open.

Is it just me or is the guy on the right side of the picture still fishing?
Not too familiar with the Gannie, haven't fished there for 15 years so I'm not sure what is open. It sounds like it has become a real poop-show since I fished it.

Anyway, TIPS MNR 1-877-847-7667, 1-877-TIP-SMNR. Save this on your cells and use it when you see someone doing something illegal. Maybe they won't get the guy you saw, but they may get someone the next day. It does work, albeit sometimes slowly.

Alfie.
