LOOKING FOR A FISHING BUDDY

Hey Everyone,

New to the site so thought I would say hi and introduce myself.

I never new how much fun fishing was until I caught my 1st big pike this summer. Looking to make a new friend or freinds to go out fishing with. I don't have a boat but I drive so can be mobile. I currently live in Milton but willing to travel. I'm a rookie at fishing so hoping to get out on the waters so I can be great at it - maybe even been shown the ropes and learn some new things.

I am pretty flexible on weekends. Since my wife is understanding and supportive on my new hobbies, can even get away for a couple of days at a time. During the week it's difficult as I work but evenings are even possible as well.

Anyways - hope to hear back and get some more fisdhing in!

The forum has lots of in depth information and great people ( some are questionable :lol: ). Once in a while we organize OFF events where a bunch of people get together and spend a couple days fishing, great way to meet and greet people.

Stick around a while, you will enjoy it. If you're ever in the east end of Toronto during October/November hit me up and I will take you out to do some steelhead ( rainbow trout ) fishing. Message me beforehand and we will take it from there

Hey man. Thanks for the congrats - was a hell of catch.

I pretty much want to fish for anything. Being a newbie, I am open to try anything to see what I like, don't like and most of all get the hang of it.
Location wise I'm pretty open to explore. Don't mind local or even going away for a bit.
In terms of gear - I have my rods and tackle box full of lures, frogs, worms etc. But once again pretty new so whatever you can show me or anything I should have that is needed let me know bud.
