many years ago I was given a fly rod by my grandfather and over the years I have tried several times to find info on the specific rod but have had no success at all. I can't even find another one similar anywhere on the Internet.
The rod is an 8 1/2 ft tubular glass rod made in Japan. It has a small oval plaque on the cork handle with "summerlee Olympic" stamped on it.
If anyone has any info on it such as age, quality, etc I would greatly appreciate it. I will try and post pics soon.
