Seems Ross reels have a good rep,what about Tibor or Nautilus reels? What's the allure of the split cane for the uninitiated, sensitivity? Simms waders hands down next time I purchase, they're mine.

I supposed to be off to Montana in the summer I'm a dry fly guy so Montana is where its at but b.c is on the list as well as for tibor or nautilus great reels I was looking at both but very very expensive

Awesome, you must be excited.Hopefully it's everything you expect and the weather co-operates. I take it from your name you're on the Mad often? My brothers in-laws had a property near Creemore, not sure if they still own it.

Ya right around there It's great before the water gets to hot but I have a bunch of new spots I want to check out this year around central Ontario too

Seen a 20 foot fly rod down east at the atlantic salmon museum in Margaree Valley, antique pretty cool. To fish there if I recall correctly, you had to hire a guide @ $160 or so and you moved from pool to pool with 3 casts per pool

I'd be in a mansion with hot babes surrounding me while in a hot tub and have sage VXP fly rods hanging on the walls hooked up with ross reels and id also have a lodge and a super fancy center pin.
