yeah i heard some fish were caught on hardware when i was east the past 5,6 days, saw an angler using a spinner and he had one kept on the bank decent size too.nice fish rain-bow thanks for sharing

I literally just sent my stradic in for repair today, now all I've been thinking of is mepps and little raps in big pools.

Anyone ever throw hardware with a pin?

saw a guy landed 2 5lb chromes on clackin' rap in low water...clear too. caught a 2lber on spoon as well. i guess they work better than roe on these water conditions.

I don't have much experience with rapalas for steelhead, but the Blue Taildancer-5 was a real goodie last fall. I might have to go shopping again :blink:/>

As for my stratic 4000 FJ (I love this reel) the nut came loose under the spool..
Left handed thread and i used locktite ..tightened and fixed!!

Using spinners has been great this weekend in the clear water. Picked up a bunch from dollerama and they worked wonders =)

I was throwing flatfish with my pin today in the low water for the first time, it's pretty easy to get used to with the right drift. Got 2 today here's the bigger of the 2 minus the background

Yup always keep a couple spinners on me. It's tougher retrieving a spinner on a CP with an 11ft noodle. But I imagine its a lot more feasible on something shorter and stiffer
