Just a quick question to the folks in the know about the lower Niagara River: would a guy casting spoons and spinners from shore have any luck with the bows or browns this time of year? I know most people fishing from the shore are drifting floats along the current. I would love to give that a try, but I don't think I would get very far with a 6'6" medium action spinner combo.

Thanks

Its always worth a try. I know they dont move as much which makes slow moving live bait under a float a good option. Just try to keep your presentation moving as slow as possible. Some other users who fish the Niagara should have some better advice.
