Lunker hunt

Hey guys, went out on this beautiful morning and hit up the grand ! Haven't fished in a while so I was pumped to get a line wet! Started the day out at a spot I've fished once or twice. I would normally wade the river but I brought my woman along so I had to keep it to easy access on the shore!

We rolled up and the mist was still on the water and the smallest we're active. They were surfacing and jumping everywhere! I started with a senko but after nothing I switched to a coffee tube.

First cast on the tube I nailed this guy

Continued (friggin phone)

After I release that guy my very next cast I caught his buddy

Then my woman caught her a decent bass and it put on a Arial show



After this the fishing started to slow down but I did see some intense action across the river of course. So we went and hit another spot !

I never fished this new spot so I waded along the shoreline throwing out my tube and letting it drift along the bottom.


Then I felt a thud! And the fight was on started peeling drag instantly. Got er to shore and was pumped to see this guy!!



It was a beaut day finished off with my first really decent bass of the season! Thanks for reading! PEACE!!
