After spending a great day with my fellow enthusiasts on two Lake O rivers in one day and spending hours in the hot sun , trying desperately to hang on to land just one of these insane Chinooks and at the end of the day having a single person able to hold a Lake O beast , way to go NADO.
Leaving the river , entering our awaiting chariots and dashing back home amidst millions of other motorists , to reach home in the dark as was the case when we left .

The next day waking later than usual and peering out at the seemingly cloudless sky , I think to myself , I wonder what the fish are doing ....like...ten minutes away .
On the phone texting away , well , who's up for round two this afternoon . On the river at 5 pm. off the river at 6:30 pm. = 3 Chinooks on 1 landed and a beautiful Steelhead about 6 lbs.
Can you see me grinning from where you are right now , oh ya ..... Steely time , this fish threw me a loop .. it pretended to be a jack ...head shakin' and twistin' .
Then ... as if another fish took it's place ... it went crazy , the line literally ripping through the water with that unmistakeable power and agility .
I turned and looked at James and said that's no Chinny ... that IS a bow !!!

Nice one, what did that hit on? I'm going out Mon or Tues to see what there is. Hope I can finally get a steel to hit.

Nice fish! Great report as well. You mentioned a "jack" what is a jack? The picture looked like it was a brown trout, is jack just a nickname for a brown trout? Cheers.
