Has anyone had any experience fishing this bay?

To be clear, there are two areas, one is a wildlife reserve, the other seems to be a regular bay.

I want to try my luck out there but I'm not sure what kind of fish to expect?

I am desperately looking for decent bass fishing close by. Any help would be wonderful! Thank you :)

If you live in oshawa take 45 mins and drive to rice lake and fish Bewedly. Great place to catch some bass.

So which is more of a priority?
To try that body of water or to haul in Bass?
There are good spots close by that might be better.
If you can drive a little further west (approx. 15mins on a good day) there are a few that i have caught bass for sure. or like AC said...rice lake. your call.
But if you want to give Mclaughlin Bay a shot, good luck and hope to hear some great reports.

Yea sorry I don't mean to redirect and not really answer your original question! I just was thinking if you are looking for some bass, not too far from you, you can hook into some bass all day.
