Meaford fishing October

I was wondering if anybody knows how far down big head river in Meaford your allowed to fish this time of year ?
Also wondering:
What the best lures to catch Trout and Salmon on that river might be ?

If there are any free parking spots or best places to park ?

Is it free to fish all along big head river ?

Best spots to fish on big head river that are open this time of year ?

Is there any other free to fish spots in Meaford that good for Trout and or Salmon that are open this time of year ?

Are you allowed to fish at the first three bridges crossing on big head river ? I just want to make sure I would not be fishing some place that is not open this time of year.
How about Beautiful Joe Park is it open this time of year ? ,Does it have Trout and or Salmon ? ,Free to fish ?

I've never fished in Meaford but I want to sometime soon any other information would be much appreciated thanks in advanced

The water is very low right now so I wouldn't bother until we get rain.

It's quite a fast and rocky river so I find using lures a bit tricky.

A lot of the river runs through private property and most of that is posted. Stay closer to the mouth and you should be ok.

be very careful about where you fish on this river some of the landowners can be very sticky and what you think might be public is probably private, I recommend you stay as close to the mouth in downtown meaford as possible to avoid problems
