I went fishing at Mill Pond (see below) on the evening of June 20th of this year. It is located one block north of Main St. in Milton, on Martin St. It is a shallow weedy lake that is home to a nice population of sunfish, perch, crappie, LM bass and (apparently) trout. The north side of the lake has houses that back onto the lake. On the south shore, is a bank suitable for fishing. There is a gazebo to the east for some shade.

That evening, I was throwing small spinnerbaits and micro inline spinners from teh southern shore, trying to coax the sunfish, perch and crappie to bite. Fishing a pond this size, I never thought I would hook into this OOS LM bass! It felt around 3.5 lb, and was defintiely a personal best for me!
I went back the next morning, and was catching crappie when another 3ish lber and a 1.5 lber! Unfortunately, I didnt have my camera and I lost my cell phone along the banks there.
This place is now my favourite place to go when short on time, and I need to wet a line!
