So I drove up to the Mississauga lake, at Mississauga Landing, near Catchacoma. Finding this spot was random but definitely worth it. Threw the canoe on my car, gotta love the flat back with the 2.5hp. Trolled back and forth the lake for a while with my Mepps black fury 2. Didn't hit anything trolling until I came back past the island near where we launched from. So we decided to tie off to a tree on the island, let our canoe sit and throw casts off with a worm on the spinner. We were landing fish steady almost every cast. Hit about 50/50 ratio of small mouth and decent sized rock bass. We were pretty much landing so many fish we were guessing what we had on before we reeled in just by the weight and the amount they fought. All in all a sweet day. Hit bass lake on the way back down but that place was dead, well maybe it wasn't seeing as we were only hitting it for about 30 min... guess it wasn't as exciting as this hidden treasure we landed on in the middle of nowhere. To get there we took 507 and then saw a sign that said boat launch that was really faded and went down that dirt road for 2km, I believe it was called kings road. We followed it to the launch and had a blast.
