More than Just a Sport

A company called Shamrock Fishing Products contacted me via me and my team mates fishing Twitter page, and asked me to write an article for their website to promote kids in fishing.

This was the final product:

Not the greatest piece of writing, and there are a lot of things I should have added, but I'm still happy with the finished product.

Very nicely written! I absolutely agree that too many kids today are stuck on the couch. Back when I was a kid (many many years ago)...the worst thing you could do was ground us to the house. My son...who is now a week from 24, I had to ground him outside away from the games being played inside. He is now an avid fisherman and is almost totally catch and release....but I'm happy he is out and about and we have had some great times fishing together.
