Hey OFF,

Heard Mountsberg Conservation area is an excellent spot for pike/bass fishing! May head over there if its worth it!

Can anyone recommend certain areas in mountsberg that would be good to catch these fish off of shore? We do not have a boat.

Would LOVE to land a nice pike, as I have never even seen one caught before! :)

Thanks,
Grappler

just go along the tracks. both sides. careful of passing trains obviously. theres other good spots but they are pretty obvious if you arent blind ;)

the really overgrown side has some nice fish in the small weedless pockets, if you can reach them.

good luck

Just go along the tracks? What happens when a train comes? Jump in the water? Lol

Agree the smaller body of water along the tracks, have caught some nice pike in there.

But truly not a huge place, Get there and do some foot work and you will have some success !
and No Gas Motors Electric only but a boat or canoe is a great bonus for Gatorsburg lake ....

theres plenty of area along the track where the rocks go down into the water but have enough of a flat area that you can stand and not be in any danger

C'mon, not fair asking for specific holes to fish! Do the leg work! :)

It will become very obvious when you get there where the fishing is at. If you're feeling intrepid, do some walking around the circumference of the lake and I can promise you'll find some nice little holes. Bring some hip waders if you got them.
