my bucktails

ok since everyone is showing of their tackle boxes ill post a pic as well. most of the bought spinners i dress with a bucktail, but some i make my own, takes les than 5 min, and another 2-3min to tie a bucktail.

and my rapala collection, which i like the most. :lol: (no soft plastics this time, its too many of them lol)

I like your collection of spinners and especially the box u have to store them so they don't get tangled.

As for tying that tail on how hard is that can u tell methe steps? I don't really mod lures no time.

And once I get the new box sorted this weekend I'll post a album hahaha.

there are different ways, the way i do is
1. put some hair like you would make regular jig.
then do the one in the vide

you can do the step only shown in the video, but i like to put more hair in the hook, looks nicer in water
i use good amount of nail polish after.

i though the same, then i sat down and practiced, oh man its so easy now, you cant use fingers to make 4-6 loops around, using fingers its only one or two loops the best. practice. the one with the small tube on the handle does all the job

usualy in a sports bag, sometimes in a backpack. depends how much stuff i take.

hmm, i'm going to join in here, i just have a large hard plastic taklebox, if i can take it with me i do, but most of the fishing i do these days involves a bike ride to get there, so i just take what lures i will most likely use in a small bps giftcard tin in my pocket :? that leaves carrying my rod as the only problem :mrgreen:

actually last week i made a tackle box myself to carry everything.
its some sort of container i found in a store and cut walls from plexiglass.
it turned out real nice though. lures never get tangled.
my only concern now, could be little bigger lol

Those bucks are sweet. Maybe I'll try it out for my winter project this year. This winter past I tied (err, crimped)my own flourocarbon leaders. Good Job!

i use to fish for pike alot few years back, but now when i have time im more into steelhead and salmon, and carp in summer.

That's one thing I need to make or get, one of those big tackle boxes, almost built one myself, might have a go this winter at it unless I find a decent one for a good price. Might even try make a smaller one that I could put like 5-10 BIG baits in, use one of those lunch packs, and put tubes in (using epoxy or another alternative) it or acrylic dividers, kinda like a mini lunch pack for skis :mrgreen:
