My first bow

Finally, after 2 years, I caught my first rainbow. Man, talk about rough... went up to Goderich, (in an unnamed river), with 4 other guys... started fishing at 6am, and by 6:30 I landed this baby...
Man, what a good feeling... FISH ON!... First fish (and the only one I landed) of the day. Once the rain and extreme winds kicked in, the strikes were minimal. Couldn't even see my float and could barely cast.

Was the flesh orange/red or pale? When I'm fishing the Huron tribs I like to keep my catch as well

This is a bow from the Maitland River. Has similar traits.

Haven't cleaned the fish yet. But I'll let you know when I do.

It's a stringer. Don't like leaving the fish on the rocks/dirt.
