Last week I headed down to Duffins Creek with my gf to try for some bass. It was hot and humid maybe around 29C.
The water level was not too high because it didn't rain too much lately.
Most of the day we caught many chubs on worms and one small trout.
Then I spot this big shadow in the water and it quickly went under a bank. so i jig a worm right infront of the hole. Nothing happend for 15 min. so i left the area and came back in 10min. I jig a big fat worm again... I then see a fish suck it in. The line ripped out in the current I was on 4lb line 6' rod.
This fish gave a hell of a fight but luckly managed to pull it in. It was the only big smallie of the day.
