Well, I started off Saturday evening, went out for about an hour after work, managed a nice 6lb steel on an olive BH hares ear, sadly no picture, it broke off on the bank and slide back into the drink before i could get the camera out.

Day 2: New river out east, started out bright and early at 530am

About an hour in, I hook into the first chrome of the day, about a 10lb silver bullet, after a few aerials and session of holding bottom, my fly broke loose. damn it! 2 more hours pass and nothing.

So we sat down for our shore breakfast/lunch with a few friends, a spread of toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes and sushi

after lunch, finally manage to land one on a black flashback nymph

and an hour later, my second and last of the day

Day 3: Slower than the Sunday, but due to the weather i suppose, was forced to lay down the fly rod due to a bad sunburn on my casting arm, pick up the float rod, using a wax worm below a trout bead I landed my first and only fish of the day

Some nice looking fish.

I havent had any luck on the wax worms yet, may need to try them more! Where do you hook them? Through the head? Tail? Center?

i used a live wax worm about an inch long hooked through the centre, or like you bass fisherman call it, wacky! that one actually cleared the water when it hit

looks like a blast man, you guys sure come prepared. Great shots too...

Too bad about the ones that got away but I guess that's what keeps us coming back haha.
