So I didn't do any fishing up until this past week in 2012 (hit a local trib with Dozer the other day), since the snow came I've been occupied with my other passion, snowboarding. (Reason why I haven't been on here in a while)

This was the last decent fish I caught, late December if I recall correctly.

Just thought I'd share some pictures from the trips I took this winter, I was able to get in 18 days of riding between work and other things so I was quite happy.

I ended up taking 3 trips to Quebec and the latest trip was to the Colorado Rockies two weeks ago. All the other riding was local. Don't mind the fruity colors

The scenery in Colorado was beautiful, was definitely a trip I'll never forget

Even had my fair share of crashes. Luckily didn't break anything this year, but bruised tail bone, pelvis, and shoulder blade on different occasions. Falling while flying down a mountain at 60+km/hr isn't fun

Also found tons of these in the area.

Overall was a great season, definitely my best to date.

Here's a little video edit we made, no spectacular footage, just some riding around Mont Tremblant.

Hope you all have a great opener, see you on the water :D

CLUB D'EPOQUE

Hey, can we drift your camera, lemon/lime?

Awesome action shots! *Thumbs-up*!

I have been riding for 20+ years and I still can't get enough... If you haven't been to Sunshine yet, please put it on your list!! That mountain was designed with boarders in mind..

I have been boarding for maybe 7 or 8 years now but I have recently been considering switching to skiiing. The reason being that it seems alot of ski resorts are geared towards skiiers. When boarding I prefer nice powder and sweet glade runs and I find alot of the double black hills at most ski resorts are steep hills with moguls and that isnt really appealing to me on the board. Not to mention each new resort you go to requires you to pass a safety course before you can use their board park...

great shots, looks like lots of fun.i've only been skiing a few times myself but good times, would love to try the board some day.

Thanks, I'll definitely take a look into it. Next big trip I'm planning will be Revelstoke BC in Dec or Jan, but hmm, Sunshine looks tempting as well.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. This year was the first time I've ever tried a T-Bar, and it wasn't fun, probably most embarrassment I've had since I was learning to get off the ski lift years ago. Moguls I don't mind, but I avoid them the majority of the time.

Thanks for that , I felt like I was there with you . That camera turns over some nice video , very nice .
Snowboarding and Steelheading ... Now you need to get some footage with high flyin' steel , that I would love to see .

Thanks! Yeah it's a great camera. I picked up a chest mount recently for the purpose of getting some good fishing/kayaking footage. Hopefully I'll get something good (fishing related) on video in the near future
