Need tips on where and when to find Salmon in Toronto

Hi, I'm just a student and very interested in observing salmon in Toronto. My buddies and I heard that in mid October there would be large salmon runs from the Pacific into Toronto. I'm really interested in being there and watching but I have no idea where I to go for this and when.

I read ontario guides saying there were salmon in the Rouge river (close to me) but I've scoured this forum and found no info on it. Is the humber river better?
Could anyone point us in the right direction to observing salmon runs in Toronto?

Well they are "Pacific salmon" anyway whether they're coming from the Atlantic or the pacific. We're not allowed to catch the "Atlantic" ones.

How do they make it up the rockies? :neutral:
