Folks,

Found this forum a few weeks ago and been absorbing some terrific information. I don't get to drop the line much these days with 3 kids and a full-time job which can be really stressful. However, I took my oldest son to Port Credit last week hoping to land some salmon. Although we got skunked and lost a couple of cleos, we had a fantastic time and made me wonder why I hadn't done this more often. The last time a had a decent outing must have over 15 years ago when some buddies and I went up to Moon River for some musky.......had a ball!

Great to know some many avid fisherman out there willing to share their experiences.....will continue to look for updates on a regular basis!

A friend of mine told me how he used to take his family out, he was fishing his wife and 3 daughters were in the car sleeping. The youngest was still a baby at the time. She's now in her 30s. That may seem extream but they got used to it. Back then dads had the final word......the good ol days.........lol.

Great to hear you're passing your knowledge to your kid, my father never did that and I'm left to figure it out for myself or ask the very wise and experienced individuals on this forum. I think you'll find the information here invaluable and worth passing on to your kids. Hope to hear about your own experiences and share in our pool of information so that we all benefit and become better anglers.

Welcome to the forum.

"SOMETIMES" it is hard to MAKE THE TIME (Fishing with the kids).....

Understandable

However, EVERY TIME you DO MAKE the TIME - NEVER any REGRETS

And thats for LIFE! * We control our own destiny
