New Here....Great Forum!

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself and comment on the excellent forum being offered here. I hope to contribute much in the coming months, including a first report. I'm just outside of Newmarket, and have fished Simcoe, Canal, Balsam, Mud, Scugog, St. Clair (MI), and countless others all over this great province. I mainly fish for bass, but have gone out for Perch, Walleye, Pike, and have even done some ice fishing. Let's just say June can't come soon enough! Anyways, hope to learn some stuff from here as well as chime in from time to time.

Sure, sounds good....I must admit that after fishing so many species of fish, my preference would have to be bass, so as long as you don't mind that, I'm game! I live just outside of Newmarket, Holland Landing to be specific, Yonge and Bathurst St.

Dreamer, I worked for 5 years in Bradford! Yonge/Bathurst is only a 15 minute drive. It really is a small world...

I am good with bass... do you have a boat or do you go to shores? When do you normally go? weekends? weekdays? mornings? evenings?

When are you planning next trip?

Sometimes, I use my Dad's boat, other times I have rented with buddies....and I have shore fished as well. To tell you the truth, I hate boat launching, but I'll do it....if I could find a great place to shore fish, I would do it. As far as time, I have evenings free and weekends generally....any time of day suits me. Just waiting for the bass season to start basically....thanks guys for the interest!

I have been to Simcoe many times and really enjoy the drive. Would love to hook up sometime and learn some tricks of the trade...

Let us know when you plan to head out and if you have room. Of course, I'd be sharing with expenses.
