Hello to the Boards!

My name is Jay I am 24, not new to the fishing scene, I have fished alot of rivers in southern ontario primarliy for Salmon and Trout. the past couple of years I bought a property on Daytona beach had some fun catching lil sharks down there. This yea is the first year I have actively pursued Lake fishing and have takena likling to the more relaxed kind of fishing.To date my buddies and I have caught alot of Pan fish with a very few bass, and Pike.

I have become more and more interested in catching Pike and found the internet to be a great resource. We are plannign another trip to island lake (Orangeville) in 2 weeks. I am also planning to try my luck @ the bronte creek as I am not far from it at all.

I am new to the online fishing world as I am more into cars and the whole car scene. I started my own forums last winter http://www.Elitetuners.ca and that is another one of my active passions.

I look forward to meeting a few of you if not just sharing stories and learning how to perfect my fishing technique!

This is all the pics of my car I have at work with me. As for fishing pics I am yet to have n e from this year.... I have been putting off picking up a waterproof camera untill I hit up Black Friday (2months) in Buffalo.

Is there any reccomended spots for fishing on Bronte Creek? I want to go, but not sure where.

The Mazda is not new by any means. Its a 2002 Protege 5, I purchased this in 2007. since then I have modded and painted and built from the ground up. I just finished re-doing the front end (paint and new bumper) the engine is almost completely done being re-built. This car has been thru hell and back. I bought it in 2007 with 96000km on it, As it sits now it has 273000km I have gone on tons of road trips to the states, all over Ontario. Mind you I am on my 3rd engine about to be fourth.
First engine- blew bc previous owners oil starvation
2nd engine-Seized @ the crank
3rd egnine waranty replacement-has been good since 07, now has leaking valve seals
4th egnine being built now.....


But back to the fishing topic. BRONTE CREEK!!! Is there a recomended spot?

Better ask the Bronte Creek Q in the main fishing section, I've never fished for Salmon yet. Sorry to hear about your engine problems I've never had to replace a stock/dd motor but that would suck.

That's one of the better looking P5's i've seen. great taste.

You should post your Q in the general section. More traffic and more people would answer if they could.

Yea the motor issues suck. High mileage plus agressive driving in the states (NYC mainly) has caught up with her yet again.....

Dont mind the facial expression it was more like me yelling at the fish to stop moving so we could throw his ass in the cooler. Also thats me winning $50 for the first cathch fo the day @ Heartlake.

bumping an 11 year old thread to ask a few things

1. What happened to the chat box (Its been a while)
2. Is there fishing @ port hope, I see all over public space is closed but hearing alot of people havegone and done so legally
3. Where can we get some trout Roe?
