Hello! I'm new to the forum. I hope the fall has been good fishing for you all.
I am writing today because I am searching for a new camp/cottage to try for a week of fishing in southeast Ontario with my father. We have been going to Camp LaPlage on Lake Nippissing for well over 20 years. Recently the ownership has been changed and the charm of the place has changed. It's simply time for something different, yet somewhat similar. If anyone has suggestions for a lake for us to check out, we would be extremely grateful.
We are simply a father/son looking to spend some quality time on his Lund as he retires and sit around the cottage campfire at night. Some nice bass/walleye/pike fishing, simply for recreation, not keeping any, wouldn't even send a monster catch to a taxidermist.
if anyone could recommend a nice camp/cottage/cabin with docks (hot showers would be a nice bonus)it would be MUCH appreciated! you guys know the kind, a place with charm and character that you cant wait to get back to each year.
